Ellie and I tried to clean air tubes in back and generally cleaned out firebox really well and replaced some broken firebricks. But I think the biggest impact was probably your adjustment to the top of the firebox creating the opening in the front. In any case, the fireplace works great and my family is very happy. I want to say a big thanks for coming out on such a slippery morning when your day was already full. Very cool and we'll recommend you to anyone.
